Party Game with Billy Van
Some astonishing charades skills on display here. This is from a long forgotten Canadian game show broadcast out of CHCH Hamilton in the mid 1970s. Appears to be set somebody’s basement. Quality stuff, although impossible to find.

Coaching Team-Spirit
Peter chose coaching only pictures including fellow coaches to ensure everybody received due honors. What he left out was an album about all the tournaments “Fatima” won, many for all of Toronto — locals call the GTA or General Metropolitan Area, ie, excluding satellite towns — and several championship pennants of victories won for all Southern Ontario — the population of which comprises a formidable chunk of all Canada’s population. When the old Fatima building was torn down a gym lined with pennants went into the ground. As well, Peter and his coaching buddies “invented” sports, like “Mini-Tennis”, and divisions of sports for girls and for the kids who weren’t old enough to qualify for tournaments. It was normal to walk in on an uneventful game and see the walls lined and the stage dripping with students, ex-students, parents, teachers from other school, and people like me who knew the coaches or were family members. Peter was never “NOT coaching” — volleyball season went into basketball, to track and so on — so it was a good way to see my husband.
